The Bethel Series                                                          The Bethel Series will be starting up on January 5, 2009 on Monday evenings. A format in Adult biblical Studies developed by The Adult Christian Education Foundation. If you are interested in participating, please let Andy Harris or Carol Young know.

Prayer Circle                                                               In the Bay of Quinte Conference there are:
197 Pastoral Charges, 11 Outreach Ministries – Chaplaincies and Presbytery Ministries, 3 Camps-Golden Lake, Lauren, Quin-Mo-Lac, 2 Senior’s Facilities – Quinte Living, Zion Housing, a Conference Staff of 8. As part of the body of Christ, the Christian Church, we are invited to pray for each other and for our mission in the world. This prayer cycle invites prayer each week for a particular ministry and its work. It will take approximately four years to rotate once through the cycle of ministries within this conference. This week we are praying for:Bloomfield United Church, Belleville Presbytery. 

 Volunteers Needed – TELECARE LINDSAY                       An extensive (12 weeks, one evening per week)training course prepares volunteers to be a telephone “listener”. The training session for volunteers begins January 5, 2009. For more information, please call the Telecare office at 878-4411. See bulletin board in Narthex for more info. 

Wanted: Painter’s drop sheet/tarp 12’x12’.
If you have a drop sheet/tarp you could donate or loan to the Church Mural Project Group for an extended period of time, we would be most grateful. The need is urgent painting starts this month. Please contact E. A. Hull at 738-5397. We are still asking for donations of acrylic paints to be dropped off at the Church Office.

Abbey North Drummers presents … “On the Frontline” CD which may be purchased for $25.00 each from Trinity-Providence United Church office between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. open Monday to Friday.

Allan has written two books during his summer sabbatical entitled, “Walkabout Wonderings” and “Grandfather’s Yarns”. These can be purchased for $8.00 each or $15.00 for the pair, at the church office from Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The proceeds will be given to the “Mission & Service Fund”.
